Announcing Dennis Delborgo, Assistant Village Manager
Starting today, Friday, February 14, 2025, Dennis Delborgo is the new Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Mamaroneck. As Assistant Village Manager, Dennis supports the Village Manager in the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Village, as well as coordinates with Village Department Heads on critical community issues such as flooding and transportation.
Dennis comes to the Village of Mamaroneck with over 20-years of government experience, most recently as the Director of Emergency Management for Westchester County. Hired by the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services in 2005 and appointed Director of the Office of Emergency Management in 2012, Dennis was responsible for all-hazards emergency preparedness; disaster response; disaster recovery; and hazard mitigation for county government and in support of local municipalities.
A volunteer firefighter in several communities for over 25 years, Dennis holds numerous state and federal public safety certifications, and has served in every rank in the fire service including Fire Chief.
Dennis holds a B.A. in Political Science/Government and an M.S. in Protection Management from the City University of New York – John Jay College. He is currently pursuing an M.P.A at the University of Missouri – Truman School of Government and Public Affairs.
Dennis grew up in Larchmont and Mamaroneck, graduated from Mamaroneck High School, and lived in the “Town” until moving to northern Westchester where he resides with his wife and children.
