Flood Mitigation Committee

MISSION STATEMENT

The Village of Mamaroneck Flood Mitigation Committee “FMC” is a small working group of seven resident member who serve the Village's leadership in their endeavors to identify and participate in potential solutions to flooding while educating residents in green infrastructure and nature based solutions as well as other flood mitigation measures and safeguards. The committee will assist the Village’s leadership in community engagement and support Village staff in being an active participant working with neighboring communities to identify joint flood mitigation projects and identify projects in other communities that will negatively affect/increase flooding in the Village of Mamaroneck
