Most Non-Emergency Village Offices Close at 12:45PM

Most Non-Emergency Village offices close at 12:45pm on Tuesday, December 31.

  • Only the Clerk-Treasurer's Office will remain open until 5:00pm to accept property tax payments.
  • Please note that sanitation crews will pickup RECYCLING throughout the Village on Tuesday, December 31 (instead of Wednesday, January 1). Because of this change, regular Tuesday garbage pickup will not take place for those households who normally have their garbage picked-up on a Tuesday.  PLEASE NOTE this change from an earlier version of the 2024 Sanitation calendar. 
  • The Recycling Center, including the Compost Drop-Off Program, at 313 Fayette Avenue will close at 11:00am.
  • The Marine Education Center at Harbor Island Park will also close at 12:45pm.
