Resident Advisory: NYS DOT Conducting Traffic Volume Studies in the Area 7/14

Beginning this week, residents may notice traffic counting devices installed by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) throughout the Village. These devices, which may be placed alongside roadways or mounted on poles at various locations, are part of a scheduled traffic volume study. The purpose of this study is to collect data on traffic patterns to help inform future transportation planning and improvements. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as this important work is conducted.
